This was drawn as a BSN Zev thread prompt prize for the ever lovely lady of many usernames, Bitenomnom/Shiningmoon/Toasterfish. It’s her warden, Rima, interrogating Zevran post-ambush. While you’re at it, I’d thoroughly recommend you go and read Rima’s story, Camouflage, and I’d say that even if I didn’t more or less help beta it. She is the most wonderful antidote to every Cousland you’ll have ever read, for one thing.

This is my gift for tklivory, in the Zev thread secret santa. It’s Tallathian from her Arlathan-era fic Rise of the Wolf (which I would really recommend to anyone who has even a little interest in the DA elves. I have to keep reminding myself that it’s not actually canon!) posing with the Dread Wolf himself.

I don’t think I’ve posted this on Tumblr before, so here goes. It’s my 2 hour-ish daft little comic entry to a BSN Zev thread prompt from a little while back. The theme was ‘Something funny happened on the way to the…’- so Zevran had to undergo some kind of change. My interpretation was, uh, fairly literal, as I’m sure is wonderfully obvious. And because tumblr’s a bum about big images, here’s the slightly larger version. Really, I need to start using photosets.

Just some doodles of characters from my various comic-verses. I’m getting a little better at pushing poses towards some kind of dynamism, I think. I basically love trying to make my drawings as expressive as possible!

I’m probably going to ink this on my lightbox, but I scanned it in case I do decide to ink straight onto the sketch and something goes horribly wrong. So, I may as well share it!

Lady A is adorable!

Eee, I only just saw this- gosh but I’m such a tumblr pro /sarcasm. Hee, thankyou, anyway! I have a bit of a thing for round, cute girls. As I have a bit of a thing for tough women. So my Brosca and Aeducan nicely fill both categories, heh.

And here’s a little bust of Zevran! I’m so pleased with this: it’s by the far the best and most Zevran-ish drawing of him I’ve done, IMO. Practice makes perfect, after all :)

Don’t mind me, I’m still fiddling around with the faces of my wardens. The more I tinker, the more I’m feeling out a way of drawing them that I’m comfortable with. I’m still trying to decide wether I prefer Princess A with or without short hair.

Oops- I just noticed Brosca’s missing her brand OTP

More dragon age doodling! As well as my Mahariel, here we have a Brosca and Aeducan lady whose designs I’ve been mucking around with. Basically, I love trying to really push and exaggerate body type so characters look as individual and interesting as possible. I’m also discovering drawing dwarf girls is really, really fun! Solid body mass is enjoyable to work with. You don’t have to worry about making them look overly heavy, for one thing.

And last for this evening’s uploads, but by no means least, some DA2 Merrill! I’m really pleased with this one, but then I did put an awful lot of time and effort into getting it satisfactory: much more so than my normal doodling. The scenario this depicts is very specific, so it was fun trying to capture Merrill’s expression perfectly.

The Zevran thread over at the Bioware social network runs a more-or-less weekly prompt contest, sometimes with prizes depending on who set the prompt, and so this is the prize I owe the lovely Corker. She writes wonderfully, and you should definitely go and read her stuff right now! There’s everything from adventure to humour to porn there, so seriously, go and take a peek. This illustrates a certain scene from a fic she’s planning. So I can’t say too much about the context of the picture because, y’know, spoilers.
